This scenario explores 5 common things new managers struggle with:

1. Power struggles

2. Poor employee performance

3. Managing employee disagreements

4. Supporting employees toward meeting deadlines

5. Employee job satisfaction

The learner will help a new manager face these 5 challenges. The choices made throughout the scenario determine the likelihood of meeting a deadline.

Design and Development:

I started by creating a storyboard in google slides; outlining the 5 choices the learner will make, and the outcomes of those choices.

Based on the choices made, the learner will encounter one of four possible endings.

I created the characters in Procreate, designing different emotional states for each.

I collected and edited footage in WeVideo to set the scene of a print shop.

Last, I put it all together in articulate storyline. Using my storyboard as a guide and slide map.
